I'm a spirited Scouser who loves my city and I got proper sick of seeing the same chains everywhere, while brilliant little independent business gaffs struggled to be seen, and I kept asking myself “where’s the real stuff gone?”, local businesses were closing down left, right and Toxteth, and I couldn't help but think about the business owners that have been scalped because they didn't have the means to compete or just couldn't get noticed against the big chains that swoop in with their top-hats, bonuses and rat-like spines, and that goes for events aswell because event organisers were lucky if ten people turned up to their belter nights.

So I thought: f-that (Soz abar the language!). Let’s build something different. Something Scouse to the core. No paid ads from big brands and no corporate fluff. Just vetted independents and real events – all in one place. That’s The Liverpool Grid.
